These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of VidoCompress. By accessing or using the service, you agree to comply with these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use VidoCompress. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict any statutory or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

2. About VidoCompress

VidoCompress provides online tools intended to help users reduce the file size of video files. Compression results can vary depending on the source video, its format and encoding, selected settings, and other technical factors.

The service does not guarantee a particular file-size reduction, processing speed, output quality, or compatibility with every video format.

3. Eligibility and Authority

You must be legally permitted to use the service under the laws that apply to you. If you access or use VidoCompress on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for and bind that organization in relation to your use of the service.

4. Use of the Service

You may use VidoCompress only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for:

• Your use of the service and the files you choose to process.
• Ensuring that you have appropriate rights and permissions for those files.
• Complying with laws and regulations applicable to your use.
• Ensuring that your activity does not harm the service, its infrastructure, or other users.

5. Video Files and User Content

You may submit video files or related content for the purpose of using VidoCompress. The technical handling of uploaded files depends on the current implementation of the VidoCompress service.

You remain responsible for ensuring that you are entitled to process everything you submit, including any images, audio, personal information, copyrighted works, or other material contained in a video.

6. Your Rights and Responsibilities for Uploaded Content

VidoCompress does not claim ownership of your uploaded video merely because you submit it for processing. You retain any rights you hold in your content.

By submitting content, you provide only the limited permissions reasonably and technically necessary to receive, process, transform, and return or otherwise provide the requested service. Those permissions are limited to purposes connected with operating and providing VidoCompress.

You represent that you have the rights, permissions, or other lawful basis needed to submit and process the content.

7. Prohibited Uses

You must not use VidoCompress to:

• Violate applicable law or support unlawful activity.
• Process or distribute content you do not have the right to use.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Distribute malware, malicious code, or harmful files.
• Interfere with, disrupt, damage, or impair the service.
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts.
• Bypass technical restrictions or protective measures.
• Abuse, overload, or place unreasonable demands on infrastructure.
• Automate abusive levels of requests or access.
• Engage in fraud, impersonation, deception, or harmful activity.
• Reverse engineer protected parts of the service where prohibited by law.

8. Intellectual Property

The VidoCompress name, brand, logo, interface, website design, original software, text, and graphics may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms allow you to use the service in accordance with their provisions. They do not transfer ownership of VidoCompress intellectual property to you or grant rights beyond those reasonably necessary to use the service.

9. Feedback and Suggestions

You may send feedback or suggestions about VidoCompress. VidoCompress may consider and use that feedback to improve the service without an obligation to implement it. This does not transfer ownership of unrelated intellectual property or content you provide for processing.

VidoCompress may contain links to, integrate with, or rely on services provided by third parties. Those services operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy practices.

To the extent permitted by law, VidoCompress is not responsible for the independent content, terms, availability, or practices of external websites and services. Review their applicable terms and privacy policies before using them.

11. Service Availability and Changes

VidoCompress may maintain or update the service, change features, add or remove functionality, and temporarily interrupt availability. Interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues, security needs, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Continuous or permanent availability of the service or any particular feature is not guaranteed.

12. Accounts, Features, and Usage Limits

Certain VidoCompress features may have usage requirements, limits, or access conditions depending on the version of the service available to you. Applicable conditions should be presented with the relevant feature.

If account functionality exists now or is introduced later, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity carried out through your account, subject to applicable law.

Some VidoCompress features may be offered free of charge, while other features may be subject to pricing or separate terms if introduced. Any applicable price, billing terms, or additional conditions should be presented before you purchase a paid service.

This section does not imply that payment is currently required to use VidoCompress.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VidoCompress is provided on an “as available” basis. Compression results and output quality may vary, and a particular reduction in file size is not guaranteed.

VidoCompress does not guarantee that every file will process successfully or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Technical interruptions, incompatibilities, and processing errors may occur.

Keep an original copy or backup of important video files before using compression or processing tools. VidoCompress should not be treated as a permanent file-storage service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VidoCompress will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service or its output. This may include lost data, lost profits, business interruption, or loss resulting from reliance on compressed output.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, these limitations apply only to the extent the law permits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for reasonable losses, liabilities, or claims resulting from your unlawful use of VidoCompress, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

This provision does not apply beyond what is reasonable or legally enforceable in the circumstances.

17. Suspension and Termination

Access to VidoCompress may be restricted or suspended when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security concerns, unlawful activity, a violation of these Terms, or a risk to the service or other users.

If you stop using VidoCompress, these Terms no longer govern future use. Provisions that logically need to survive—including those concerning intellectual property, responsibility, liability, and disputes—may remain applicable.

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the use of VidoCompress will be handled through the courts, procedures, or other dispute mechanisms that have jurisdiction under applicable law.

Where practical, you are encouraged to contact support@vidocompress.com first so that the concern can be understood and an informal resolution can be explored. Contacting support is not intended to restrict any legal right or remedy.

21. Changes to These Terms

VidoCompress may update these Terms when the service changes, new features are introduced, legal requirements change, or operating practices evolve.

The latest version will be made available with a revised “Last Updated” date. Please review the Terms periodically. Your continued use after an update is subject to applicable law and any non-waivable rights you may have.

Severability

If one provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply where permitted by law.

No Waiver

A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not automatically waive the right to enforce it later.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with referenced policies and any additional terms presented for a particular feature, form the agreement governing use of the service where applicable.
